I just scored a super rare bike!!
I just picked up this bike. It is super sweet. A keeper for sure. 2003 Porter Racing Products 20" frame & fork! Only 50 ever made and none in the museum yet. This one is #27. Made in the USA 4130!! Red frame with black forks. Yes, it was a little bright outside but the frame is red.
Picked up complete as you see it but, did change the seat. I think this seat is rad and fits the bike well.
Profile cranks, Sharp 44t sprocket, Profile euro bottom bracket, Primo pedals, Redline chain tensioners, Crupi rear hub, Bullet Proof front hub, Sun BFR rims, Kanda KRad tires, Shimano Deore V-brake, Primo lever, Primo seat clamp, Barracuda 26.6 seat post, WTB WTBMX seat, Answer Stubbie 2 stem, FSA Pig headset, S&M Slam bars, ODI Ruffian lock on grips, KMC Kool chain, and some cool valve black alloy valve caps.

Porter Racing Products was established in early 2003 and closed in late 2006 .Production was 50 twenty inch frames and 30 24" cruisers .The forks produced numbered 50. The frames were designed and spec'ed by the owner,Jim Porter, most were built through Bill Ryan at S/X BMX . The first prototype hit the track at the NBL's Rocky Mountain national in Aurora Colo in the summer of 2003 .The first twenty inch frame was sold in late 2003 . The first production run of 24" cruiser took place in late 2004 . The forks, only available in 20" were the lightest cromo fork on the market at the time weighing in at a light 26 oz.
PRP closed it's doors in late 2006 while still having a high demand . An ugly divorce created financial problems for the owner which ultimately killed any more production.Serial #001 is still being ridden to this day in Fla.Cruiser #001 has changed hands twice but is still unstickered and unbuilt .

Looks like a cadillac, ![]()
How long is that top tube? 24 inches?
Maybe it is the geometry that makes it look 24 inches.
***long stem too.
Cool either way.

Top tube is 21". Yeah, I may change the stem and I have some XTR V-brakes I might install. Also might be looking for a different seat post in the future.

Re: I just scored a super rare bike!!
Nice score Rob , like Johnny and Ray said , sick parts on it too ... The whole bike has a nice geometry to it , the seat post looks good, it's the seat itself that's throwing it all off IMO ![]()
