Your Trail pics.....

Even though winter is almost here.....My kids want some trails built.

I did it back in the day, but haven't in quite a while so I'm asking for some inspiration/ideas.

I live in a small housing development out in the boonies, so land is plenty.

Like a cheap craigslist ad....your pics get mine!

Re: Your Trail pics.....

There's lots of trails here in Los Angeles. Kenter canyon whoops, sheep hills, whittier,  ones I went to somewhere in la crescenta or somewhere , that was a few years back. Hectic shlt that has Fkd me up.

Also the ones I used to go to a lot were valley circle and roscoe trails which the front section has been plowed bu the big monstrous back section still exists.

I can not sit still. I have been tested for A.D.D. and A.D.H.D. and have neither. I don't need coffee, I just need a B.M.X. or surfboard to consistently ride and I'll be happy. smile

Re: Your Trail pics.....

@ pnj

Smooth jumpos and smooth riding....back in my day we simply did not have anything like that, no insane vertical jumps.   I would be shitless to try something like that now.   Need lots of practice.

@ jaymeatsack

Where on LI are those trails?

There are some nice trails in Bayside Queens, where they have an real rated MB trails, there is a section that has jumps berms etc. Its in a section of Cunningham Park, right of the LIE.

Literally 2 blocks away from my parents house.   Before that was made a real MB track we used to go in there exploring sometimes on our bikes sometimes on foot.    Thieves used to drive cars into the park and dump them off to strip.   Became so common that cops used to patrol on horseback.  I went MBing in there last year, tried to do a 360 and ended up taccoing my rear wheel.   There are some dudes on hard tail MBs and cruisers that really ride well.

One thing I cant help but take notice is the diversity of races, when I was a kind the only people who could afford a good bike were Caucasians, now its like the united nations.   I never saw a black guy that could ride well up until very recently.
