Re: did my first threadless conversion
Looks good. Check it again after riding on it a little, it will settle in a bit and may need a little tightening.

From another thread
Blue_Max wrote:
if you don't mind you could always do the threadless conversion and use a threadless fork on your decade. all you need is a 1 1/8 a-headset, a tioga beartrap headset and use the cups from the tioga and the bearings and dust caps from the a-headset with a few 1 1/8 spacers and your ready to go with a stronger fork on a older frame.

+1 Tim... The couple of threadless conversions I've done have worked out well. Haileigh's pink Windstyler being the longest done. A couple minor adjustments was all it needed.
Good luck at EHT! I'm hoping to make it there ![]()
I'M NOT ON HERE REGULARLY. WORKING ON MY HOTROD

Re: did my first threadless conversion
Wow im glad I saw this thread! I found a set of Kore forks for my Morales frame and didn't know they made them in 1-1/8 and I bought them. I was bummed when they showed up and were 1-1/8. I have both of these headsets around so I am going to try this! ![]()
I started riding 20" bikes at 4 years old and I still ride 45 years later! But as I see it, why not!!!!
Btw I have nothing against survivors, but I like my bikes looking nice and new! So dont hate!!!! LOL!
Looking for: Ozone method frame(like everyone),
