84 Boss pads in blue. These pads are in amazing original shape with original foam. No rips or tears. Im parting my Boss and these are the first to go. If you have an early Boss dont sleep because these hardly ever surface. I was told that the early Boss pad set did not come with a stem pad. These never come up.

Torker Ultra 4 stem in black. Sweet survivor condition all original hardware with some fade and minor scratches. I could have stripped and polished but I figured I would let the buyer decide. I'd say this is one of the rarer Torker stems and in black even. These never come up aswell.

The early Boss pads did come with a stem pad they were like the white one on the right, but that color is a second now maybe a Factory racers pads, I have one that is like yours that was Cecil Johns. These are a Rare color for sure my frame pad matches yours, only ones i have ever seen in 15 years. Very cool set indeed.

thanks for the info!! I bought these off some dude in oakland. He said he bought them in 84 from his local bike shop. The only other like mine that ive seen was on a pic of Cecil Johns(R.I.P.) racing. The one i seen in the pic was probably the one you have. Im surprised someone with an early boss hasnt bought these yet. Super clean almost NOS Factory Team Boss pads will most likely never surface for another 15 years.

A few boss collectors have said early sets had no stem pad but im no expert so i cant confirm that. Out of the very few pics ive seen of these on the internet, none have a stem pad but maybe they just took em off. Idk

Yep they had stem pads both set that i have and had has one . They were same as yours. Would be nice to build a boss around those colors.
