How to remove paint from mag wheels

I have some Skyway oe mags that are spray painted black. I want to take the black off but whats the quickest or best way to do it? I cant do any type of media/sand blast so whats the best way? THanks Mark cool

I wonder if aerosol paint stripper will gum up the plastic? Would be nice to use as it can be spay into the cracks. Silica sand would take it off.

They make a product called Graffiti Remover. I have used it and it works well.   cool

Citrus strip works well. But not trying to be negative, but those may not clean up very well. The paint usually dyes the plastic and it almost impossible to get clean. You might end up either dyeing them a different color or actually repainting them. Let us know how it goes.

Takes a while but i sand in 3 stages - medium grit, low grit, wetsanding grit and then bleach the white ones. Always comes out pretty nice


Wanted: A cool 80s freestyle stem (SR, Diamondback, whatever), Peregrine Q-II bars - Both in white cool
