Cook Brothers Racing serial numbers ?
Are there any Cook Brothers Racing bikes that did not have any serial numbers? Maybe early models? Looking at one for sale , but the owner can find a number anywhere , and there is no sign of anything being grinded down. Thanks guys!

There are always exceptions, and things outside the norm. So, even if no one has ever seen one, doesn't mean it doesn't exist. Or, that it's not a fake or a copy. Personally, I don't know.
CBR stamped their early stuff on the non-drive dropout, outside. They seem to have been very detail oriented, so, I'd be very cautious. But, I'd not dismiss it without pursuit, either.
Even today, there are anomolies on stuff from small bike companies, so, today, or, 30+ years ago. there is never a 100% rule to apply to things.
Whenever someone says, "I'm not book smart, but I'm street smart," all I hear is, "I'm not real smart, but I'm imaginary smart."
