What's up 420!..My DK has a ring around the bottom of the clamp..I don't think it's DK,unless someone sanded the ring off and knurled it... but a cool looking clamp!![]()

Re: DK???
Ok measurements
Outer 49mm (1"15/16)
Inner 25.4 (1")
Thickness 14mm (9/16)
Standard hex bolt .
Also it looks to have been knurled while made then holes drilled for bolt and thread . So knurling is not an after happening . HELP

Re: DK???
My od is a little over 2" and it's only a half inch thick. So Id say it's not a DK. still a cool clamp though. I hope you find out what it is, so I can look for one.

Re: DK???
DK were originally hydrolic hose clamps - used on machinery and aeronautical equipment - similar style clamps can still be acquired, in various styles ..... If you do a search a few different co.s and styles should pop up
To be honest that just looks like a hydrolic clamp, if it fits your frame then power to ya ! I dig it myself, considering I've always had a soft spot for DK seat clamps.

Re: DK???
It could be a something home made.
Pretty easy to make in any machine shop.
Also, someone could have knurled an early dk.

http://www.ruland.com/
That's just one for example - there's numerous other companies, I'm sure it's just some other brands design.
Look at the quick release clamp - resembles the crank bros. clamps
