how can you tell if it's bent out or just built raked a bit?

Look like cheapies, what are they?
Frame doc can square them up for you for about $20 I think

they dont look cheap. they were supposed to be badd but now i don't know what they are. looks like a elf fork with badd drop out or something

brazed on bottoms?

They are Badd and Co.

When you have to ask if they are bent they USUALLY are.

These are not bent, but the legs are twisted a wee bit.

Frame Doc can square them up.

I'm just being honest... i do lay forks on my kitchen counter to check if they're tweaked or not.
