14mm axle question
Sorry if this is stupid... but before I get started on a build, I have this question...
Will a set of rims with 14mm slotted axles for 3/8 still work on 14mm drop outs? Is it just a positioning thing? Do I Just have to make sure the thickest part of the axle is lined up and tightened down? Or will the axle slip over time due to its slots/not being dully 14mm...?????
thanks Y'all
Brian

Re: 14mm axle question
No
You will have a horrible time keeping them set at the correct angle so the axle dosent "turn" and sit on the 3/8" end

They make adapters for 3/8" axles to 14 mm drop outs. I'm not sure the brand, just check it on google. I have seen them before.
I can not sit still. I have been tested for A.D.D. and A.D.H.D. and have neither. I don't need coffee, I just need a B.M.X. or surfboard to consistently ride and I'll be happy.

wouldn't I need 14mm adapters though? Since the axles are 14mm, just slotted...
I have bunches of adapters for 14mm pegs to fit on 3/8 axles, but they def wont fit a 14mm axle...
