So my argument was that its a piece of art....PFT FTW

I finished my childhood bike build and had to convince the wife that it belonged on the wall in our greatroom for the winter. (and any other time I'm not riding it) At first she seemed hesitant, but after thinking about it she said sure why the hell not. After all each frame is a piece of art IMO. So I built a mount out of oak and threw it up there. When she came home she said wow not sh!t, that looks great. smile

I have a lot of wall space muah hahaha... wink

Im working on it!!! Geesh! tongue  My plan this winter is to find a set and have my 474 pedals powdered. I want a set for sure!

Thanks all for the props on the display. It was simple and I had the crap in the storage shed so it was cheap enough.

Looks great, nice rack and bike. My wife said ok to the family room which is almost done. I will have 5 or so hanging. She thinks my old bikes are cool too. Mine will be a mix of BMX and Road though (I share my love). big_smile

I have skis on the wall in my home office and wanted to put up the RL-20II, but it would just take up too much room since the walls are already all decorated.

My bikes are getting all dusty even just sitting in my very low traffic down stairs.

My wife keeps her bike in the kitchen most of the time. I have it hanging in the basement but she keeps mentioning that it needs to get out of there before it messes her wheels up!  She will sit there for hours polishing her bike big_smile
