I can't believe the Coke & Cola aluminum foil works so well on Chrome!

I was given this GT F/F from a friend at the Philly ride last September. I am guessing a 93-94 Performer. The serial number has been removed. Anyway, I read on here about vinegar baths but I wanted to see if I could use stuff already in my house first. So as you can see from the pics...Coke and foil did not do too bad of a job.

It too me about 45 minutes total and was surprised how well the foil held up. It really was easy to mold into shapes to get anywhere on the F/F.

Awesome job!! Make sure you put a good coat of wax on it to protect those pits that were caused by the rust

Thanks man, I was thinking the same thing. I do plan on putting decals on this, wonder if that will effect the way the stick.
