I was very fortunate today, to pick up a couple very cool early pieces of SE Racing memorabilia. Picked these pieces up from a local guy that raced here in Nor Cal during the early 80's. The helmet was his racing helmet from 81. He snagged the SE banner off the fence at the end of the 83 Summer UBR National here in Sac.. Then took the banner over to the SE staging area where Perry & Toby were handing out decals and had both of them sign it. So stoked to have this stuff in my collection. Truly sweet stuff here boys. Sneak peek at a my mid school SE build. Finally found another set of these forks after selling another set I had (like an idiot) and just got the frame today from another member. Early 90's SE Assassin w/ a very rare set of SE Freestyle Landing Gear forks. The forks extended legs look sick w/ the Assassin frame's extended baloney cut at the end of the top tube. Kind of funky mix w/ a race frame and freestyle fork but I dig it Gonna be a sick build!

Thanks KD. I've got a fairly nice collection of old school helmets but this SE helmet by far takes the cake. Super hard to find any helmet this old in this nice if condition. Most of the time the finish is pretty thrashed. The original owner knew early on how special the helmet was and kept it boxed up. Still can't believe he sold me this stuff. I'm one lucky "son of a female dog"

Thanks man. I know, what are the odds of me finding another set of these forks? Guess lighting does strike the same place twice sometimes. I had the worst case of "buyers remorse" after selling the other set. These forks aren't going anyway where this time. I agree, I think the frame and fork match up perfect. One mean build

Not sure what Scott you are talking about there, but Mr B spelled his name with only one T ( Scot ). Sorry to nit-pick...

Yes, their pegs holes in the leg. There's a welded insert/sleeve in the peg hole all the way through the fork tube for extra strength. Each dropout is actually two solid dropouts welded together for extra strength also. 24" fork converted into a 20" beefy freestyle fork. Few given out to some of the SE sponsored flatland riders in 89/90.

Oh ya.. The quad behind the banner was Scott's 83 Quad frame that he broke at the usual spot on the top tube at a race in Marysville, CA. Forgot to mention getting that w/ the helmet & banner. Good eye OLDSKOOLPK.
