the "sometimes things dont go as planned calender build............."
So, I had entered my S&M RV 24 that I rebuilt in the Museum Calender Build Off, but then got tied up with other stuff and missed the photo submission deadline. Chip did a awesome job on the Candy Teal for me and I wanted to share it with everyone. I still haven't had time to Photoshop out the glass, but it's awesome to ride ![]()

Re: the "sometimes things dont go as planned calender build............."
Thanks guys, I really appreciate the fact you guys like it.![]()
I'm still waiting on S&M to get head tube badges back in to finish it off... I plan on trying to polish the raised part of the badge when I do get one. That's part of the reason I missed the deadline and hadn't submitted pics earlier, I'd planned on retaking pics after I installed one.
It would have been an honor if it had made the Calender, but at least I get to ride it and look at it everyday, and that's why I built it, not for the Calender.
I updated it in my bikes @ http://bmxmuseum.com/bikes/sandm/46353
I've got a few other builds in the works that need paint and I've got some more out of the ordinary colors picked out for C4 to do ![]()

Re: the "sometimes things dont go as planned calender build............."
Man I love that color, and you took some great pics with great backgrounds. Great job , sorry you miss the cut off time, I only just made my entry in by mins myself. I have a feeling a lot of the members that entered bur weren't able to make it in the calendar like you, and XJguy we WILL be seeing you guys and these bikes at a few big events this coming year for their place in the "Spot Light" and just desserts which are both well deserved. Awesome job once again!

Thanks, yeah the photos dont really ever seem to capture the Green tone in the color, I'll have to get my friend to do some studio pics of it. It looks even better at night, here's a pic someone snapped at the NJ ride of it in the shade
