I noticed a 24 inch 1990's Gt in the back of a work truck at my neighbors house.... (Turns out to be the neighbor’s electrician) I hit up the guy about it and he said it was his sons but he had a GT 24 too. I then showed him my BOX series 24 then the older stuff, 24 champion, 24 Robinson, 20 Robinson and so on... he was drooling. Hee said he had a few bikes back in the day; Hutch, and a few others. He also mentioned needing some parts for one of his 24 1990's GT and I offered to help whenever he was ready. So he mentioned my collection to his son who then was keeping an eye out. 3 weeks later he stops by my house unannounced with both of these (turns out these are both from the same original owner). I almost crapped my pants. They mentioned going to the internet, and the BMX museum to check out prices/ value... I said that I would like a crack at them first and if not I would assist them in selling them. They had a very good idea of value so I could not low ball them but I also did not want to let them go... I HAVE TOLD "THAT" STORY ABOUT THE ONE THAT GOT AWAY TOO MANY TIMES. So I fork over hard cash and now they are in the Garage: cool:
