Porkchop BMX and justins insensativity for the East Coast

On 11/2/2012 9:39 PM, wrote:

Justin, I'm not sure if you realized the damage of the hurricane that has hit the east coast, and how it has effected millions of people, People on the East Coast have lost Lives, two children were dragged away from one mothers arms on Staten Island NY by the flooding, they were found today in the marsh, and very minor things like having no power are just a small part of whats going on here, whole communities have been wiped out from fire (Breezy Point, Queens NY) 130 homes destroyed, communities destroyed by flooding, all over New Jersey New York City and Long Island. I believe it would have been a much better e-mail if you said that you were concerned for some of your customers on the east coast, who LOST FAMILY MEMBERS AND OR EVERYTHING THEY OWN, please consider these things in the future when offering 25% off rims, hubs, spokes, and nipples. Thank You Kevin

AND HERES THE ANSWER I RECEIVED:

I've got family in Hollis, Queens - and quite frankly you can go frank yourself.

We sell worldwide and while it is unfortunate that a storm has hit the NE united states, there are over 6 billion people on this planet and if we had to double check the misfortunate-o-meter every time we sent out a sale, we'd never put anything on sale.

How our sale could possibility be insensitive to people experiencing misfortunate, I have no idea, but maybe you should dedicate a bit more of your pathetic life to helping them.

Thanks

Justin

Yeah the dude runs a business. Everything in the world doesn't have to be about the hurricane get real! it's unfortunate and yes I donated money and I live in a state that was affected not badly but still involved. In my dealings Justin is a good guy I would have told you the same it's just a sale. I dont understand how a sale email has anything to do with peoples misfortune in the north east. Is it because he didn't acknowledge it?

Re: Porkchop BMX and justins insensativity for the East Coast

To me, yes, his sale has nothing to do with the hurricane and i'm not sure exactly what you are getting at here, whether it was you being offended by his sale e-mail or you e-mailed expecting/asking him to do something?
BUT...
That is certainly no way to talk to anyone... customer or not. Unbelievably rude and insensitive.
Much easier to send a friendly no or whatever.

+1 WTF does a BMX website having a sale have to do with Hurricane Sandy? Are you listening to yourself at all? Yes it's unfortunate what has happened to so many people. But his reply to you was right on. Do you plan on telling the Entire sales world who is about to gear up for BLACK FRIDAY that they should not do it because there was a Hurricane Up North? My god, I guess they should stop Christmas and all sales over the holidays if they do not do it with dedicated sympathy to hurricane victims. Get a life bro. Worry about the Victims if you live there. Why even care about a BMX bike parts website if you are so concerned about the people??? Your argument is too flawed to even make logical satire of. roll

pork chops for dinner tonight, what?

I can not sit still. I have been tested for A.D.D. and A.D.H.D. and have neither. I don't need coffee, I just need a B.M.X. or surfboard to consistently ride and I'll be happy. smile

HaHa! Good one Ice...You're right, I've yet to take my Estrogen pill today which as a result has made me terribly insensitive....Oh wait, I'm a MAN, that's what we do, we speak the truth...sometimes that too much for some people to handle. No offense intended, that's just the way it is. The best advice I can think of actually is in the form of a song:
