2008 Bauer 8 Ball Pro

This may have the Bauer name on it, However the frame this bike is that from the same design as the 2004 Diamond back Decoro

About 12 months ago, I was talking to the National Sales Manager for Bauer here in New Zealand about the lack of a decent BMX bike in their range. That same man happened to be a former national champion. It seemed strange, especially considering their bikes are built to their own spec (i.e no worldwide spec bikes). Among the many things I listed were cassette rear hubs, full cro-mo frames etc, euro B/B etc. I didn't think any thing would come out of it. About 6 months later, he came back with their 2008 catalogue in his hand. He mentioned that there's somrthing in there you might like to see.... and here is the result. This is the first Bauer 8 Ball Pro sold in NZ, and one of approximately 150 destined for production for New Zealand. Custom frame graphics done by Jamin Graphics. Maybe hard to come by in years to come.

Re: 2008 Bauer 8 Ball Pro

Thanks man. It's my main Park and Dirt weapon. I like it 'cos it looks so different to all the slammed seatpost bikes that kids seem to be hooked on at the moment. I like it for practicality.
