Interesting design in a frame...lots of copied forms

front end is similiar to a redline PL series with the big front plate and 5 inch steer tube, rear dropouts are like the old DG frames. Overall a cool frame but still just a mid class bike made of high tensile steel.

Re: 1983 Peugeot cpx-200

I just picked one of these up at the swap meet for $10 f/f and I've been trying to figure out the year on it. My frame & forks are identical to your although it was originally black. The bottom bracket code reads CPX3HXXXX. Did you determine the year by the code? I'd appreciate any insight on this rare deal.

thanks,
RP

I think the 3 corresponds to the year so it will be a 1983

thanks, that's what I thought but wasn't sure.

I'll have some pics up soon. Just found some decals that will work for the frame and headtube.
