1995 GT Performer Blacklight
1995 GT Performer Blacklight
Mostly NOS and OG Blacklight Performer
Had a pretty good looking Blacklight Performer, stripped it down and rebuilt it with a nos frame.
Nos parts include :FramePedals Grips Gyro cables Pegs
OG parts include :Handlebars Forks BrakesMagsGyro CranksStem
Not og parts :Tires? I know they aren't gt tires but they may have been original on this bike. Brake levers, although I bought them new I believe they are remakes of the og ones and look almost identical to the originals. Chain
So that's the build so far. I am going to try and get the tires and that's about it basically. What do you guys think?

I have one of those, but mine looks like a turd compared to yours, I like those types of paint jobs.
Nice looking performer.
It fell all by its self

Re: 1995 GT Performer Blacklight
Thanks! I have some gt tires coming in soon so hopefully they look okay. They aren't nos and they are actually the first generation of tires and not the correct second generation so we'll see. Nos gen 2 sets are like 200 dollars! Other than that I need the fork, handlebar and seat pole decals. Anyone know where to score those?

Wow, an NOS frame... where did you find that one? I love the splash paint frames. I only need the green one to finish my set. Nice work with this one. Good luck with the final details. It will be the bomb.
Cool, a new bike. Wait a minute.......where am I going to hide this one. She's going to catch me for sure!!!

Thanks! I actually nabbed the frame on ebay for $50! I think I made out on that one. I got the gt tires now, they look pretty good but wobble a slight bit. Still looking for those couple of decals if anyone has them give me the heads up.
