Anybody know that correct name/ral code for the original Hutch baby blue? not the later blue found on overseas frame.

Trial and error for me, try taking a picture or sample down to an auto paint supplier...
they have a scanner that does a pretty good job.
Worked for me... Best of luck!

Hmmm. I didn't realize there are 2 different shades. Are they that noticeable of a difference? I wanted to do my jap TrickStar baby blue...

I have one of each, when the weather is better and i have a minute, I will snap a photo so you can see. They are different. The USA version almost looks like a faded lavender and the Japan one is more of a pure powder blue you would expect.

Tried already with pics but they wont commit with them. Unfortunately i dont have an og item .. be no probs if i did

Got a Dupont code .. anybody know how to convert it to RAL or Pantone? .. PLEASE!

I wouldn't think it would be hard to transfer a DuPont code to a RAL or Pantone. Tried googling it?

and then some .. even been emailing Dupont and they dont know

I can't find any color chip with that code at all. Do you have anymore details on that color? Who/where did you get it from? Got a link to it?

I got it from Lou on here. he says he used that book to match the colour using nos baby blue parts. This is the book he used... http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/DUPONT-Spectr … 2c6a9182db

The third pic shows the light blues with BS codes.
I checked dupont website though and looks like they dont use those codes anymore

I can't find that code anywhere online whatsoever. I know they have new SpectraMaster codes and too bad you do not have THAT code. I could then give you the Pantone equivalent.

I've been talking to dupont here in UK and they just said its a US book. I'll try email someone in US and see if i have any luck there

Dupont does have new codes and I am surprised they cannot tell you the new code which matches the old one.
I think the delineation is now CAS###

I've just emailed Dupont in US .. hopefully they are more helpful
