2002 Macneil Miron
2002 Macneil Miron
2002 Macneil Miron frame, various parts. The loaner bike.
Nice heavy 7.5 lb frame with enough coats of paint on it to add another lb or so.
Price of the frame as seen in the last pic was dealer cost.
Started out red, loaned it to a friend, came back flat black *shrug* no complaints. Most of the parts are off my now retired Poverty BTS.
Frame: Full Chromoly (heavy)
Fork: Crmo Redline Monster (heavy and junk)
Wheelset: Odyssey Hazard triple walls, Hazard hubs, crmo 14mm axles (heavy)
Cranks: Poverty POW 3pc crmo (heavy)
Bars: Hoffman Jumping bars crmo (heavy)
Seat: Poverty Sofa
Post: Welded together from 2 crmo posts (didn't have the right size at the time)
Tires: Hoffman Skidmark, SNAFU Rimjob
Brake: Odyssey Evolver, London Mod
Lever: Tech 77
Pedals: Haro Big Block (unsealed)
Clamp: Walgoose double clamp cut in half (lol)
Headset: FSA PIG
Stem: SNAFU
Sprocket: Generic Haro
Grips: Lizard Skins
Well the junk scale I used to weigh this pig isn't the most accurate in the world, but 33lbs seems about right.

Mycool: Yes the SNAFU stem is an aluminum alloy. As for strength I've never heard of one being "broken" broken, but this would be the 2nd stem I've had to drill/tap (should have heli-colied it...) because someone overtightened one of the clamp bolts and ripped the threads out. Though that will happen with any mistreated stem.
Hey Duke! ![]()
Yep, heavy bike, but I've already watched it be thrown off of 8ft quarters with no damage other than the bars getting knocked out of position. Those Hoffman Jumping bars are ridiculous. lol

Hahaha.......yeah, beaters should be made just like this one....plain and simple, with good old proven parts!
Oh! And if you ever think of to get rid of this frame, if it's still clean though
, hit me up!!

Very cool bike, Jay is obvioisly a bit of a Canadian Legand. His time living here is Edmonton was awesome. he really helped push a lot of the riders here. Of note, the VERY FIRST 900 every pulled by Jay was in a small town named Clive, Alberta.

Old school Sherwood Park.
