Re: 1999 Specialized Fatgirl
I've seen alot here but not from Specialized, made in China heavy steel ones and so the chicks here don't like them. This one you have is cute, it's got to be aluminium right? The grips really go along well with the paintwork and all. Get her a pair of lavender or pink tires.

Good idea! With aluminium bars this bike is gonna be the female version of the LaserLite
Please do let me know what kinda aluminium bars you're looking for, i've been searching all around the shops here but i can't find any..all i see is the oversized MTB bars.Thanks.

Re: 1999 Specialized Fatgirl
You'll have to get with me when your little girl outgrows this one. My girl is 5 and will need this bike in about 3 or 4 years...
I've got a set of pink aluminum redline bars -might look cute on here, or maybe purple would be best. (pink because the red ano has faded.)
The real way to lighten this up would be to put an aluminum or carbon fork on the front -something from answer or bombshell.
The A1 frames are light, but the stock forks are boat anchors -like most chromoly forks.
You are the only one with one of these in the Museum.... enviable position to hold.
