1984 TRM Freestyler

TRM FREESTYLER One of the 80's classic freestylers

This bike started from a picture of my brother and his mates back in the day on their bmx's, This jogged my memory and kick started the idea of tracking down and restoring a TRM freestyler to the same or as near as in my brother's picture.
I finally got hold of a TRM frame and forks via ebay after some fierce bidding!, The frame and forks were powdered coated black which i stripped and sprayed yellow, decals were sourced from dels decals ( Awesome quality), original skyway tuff 2 alloy hub wheels, comp3 tyres, 80's style bars,sr headset,AME grips, Dia compe mx1000 brakes, renyolds layback seat post, sugino chainset and kkt pedals set off the build. after two years of from having the dream to finally sourcing the last original parts the TRM was completed in Sept 2012.

That bike looks great.
And that's a really cool frame.

Lovely looking bike there fella, British classic:) Not surprised you had a bidding war, pretty rare these days. Especially with orig forks, I broke mine in 1984!
