1979 Schwinn SX500 Mag Scrambler

SOLD!!

Has Lester-made Schwinn Magalloys, Ashtabula stem and cranks, original chrome fork and Schwinn MX seat. Basically all stock!

WOW! I remember checkin these things out BRAND NEW! I was at that damn bike shop so much after i got one they left me in charge when they got lunch

Boy do I remember that bike! I actually owned an earlier model of the Schwinn Scrambler myself...

Here is a picture of me and my nieces on my original Schwinn Scrambler circa 1976. I used it for delivering papers. The spokes on the wheels were huge and it came with a solid front fork (slightly bent backwards in this photo thanks to a minor crash), mx style handlebars, and a BANANA SEAT BABY!

Wow I never saw spokes liek that befor. Those rims are really cool.

I have a 1983 thrasher, It is red with gold brake levers and brakes. Do you have any tips...?

dude wat really pisses me off is when someone has these in there backyard sitting there and letting it rain on it when you could give it to a person who know what it is worth and let them take care of it i have begged my neighbor since i was about 12 for the scrambler he has in his back yard and he wont give it up but one of these days he will finally say yes and it will be mine i would so love having one of these bike they are so sweet
