cyclecraft Fred Z bars.

I picked up a set of these things because I am looking for an agressive 4 piece race bar and I thought they would be perfect. Well, they only have a 7.5 inch height to them and they don't look right on the big PK Ripper frame. I'm really dissapointed. I can't see how these small bars would look right on any bike.
Do they make a taller Cyclecraft bar or is there a similar brand that's a normal height?

Re: cyclecraft Fred Z bars.

Did you buy the cruiser bars, or pro bars. Pro bars have a decent height.

Re: cyclecraft Fred Z bars.

There only 5.5 from bottom to top crossbar. there 25.5 wide. These must be for a cruiser or something. They're really cool I just need something thats standard heights. MOD EDIT. NO SELLING IN CATCHALL They were white when I got them today but I already acid stripped them and glassbeaded them to a fresh bare surface ready for color.

Re: cyclecraft Fred Z bars.

The Fred'Z bars I have measure almost 9" high and 29" wide.  The crossbar is around 6-1/2" high.

I think this is the best picture I have of them:

Re: cyclecraft Fred Z bars.

I have it on pretty good authority that Cyclecraft will be selling new production Fred'z bars in the near future, modelled directly from an old 80's set. Just hold out and buy a set when they come out.

Do I owe you feedback? Please remind me via PM and I'll take care of it.

Re: cyclecraft Fred Z bars.

Someone should ad some of these bars to the reference section as there currently isn't a category for Fred-Z's or cyclecraft for that matter.

Re: cyclecraft Fred Z bars.

I'm guessing these are pro size, 28 1/2" wide and just under 9" tall from lowest - highest point.
