GT serial number question

GT serial number question
I read the post on GT serial numbers.
my serial number is this: DS61 051569
I assume it was made in the USA because of the DS61 part
but what does DS61 mean?
Also what do the rest of the numbers mean?

ds is overseas. 6 is for 86

I was given a GT Pro Series BMX bike
this is the serial number found on the bottom bracket
EP105582
Is this a true GT frame?
