1983 Boss 24"

hard to find cruiser

Saw this bike in a yard of someone I knew, asked about it. He told me it was his girlfriends sons. Got ahold of him and offered him 20 bucks and he says how about 40 I said is 30 good, he says sold. I took it home and took it for a spin and loved it. Cant wait to get it rebuilt into a single speed bike. He had turned this into a mountain bike, crazy huh. But it is a very light frame. needs some work but it will get cleaned up and be my daily rider. updated photos 3/9/08. New decals put on, a chain, new grips, new seat & post, new seat clamp, new bmx cruiser rims( araya), new tires.Changed the handle bars and added some pads on May 15, 2008
added some 3pc cranks ans sprocket may 29th 2008

Niiiiice.  I LOVED my Boss cruiser.  I beat that bike 9 ways till Sunday and could not hurt it.  I'm not trying to hate, and I know they can be hard to come by, but this frame should have the earlier style stickers (check the ones on mine), and the fork stickers go on the front of the forks on Bosses.  I say nice score at twice that price.  Good work, and I'm really glad you actually ride it.

Yeah, those decals are 90's.  To my knowledge Boss didn't have a "Team Model" in 1983.
