1984 Redline 500a
1984 Redline 500a
My First Build
I recently found the BMX Museum and rekindled my love of BMX. I have been patiently collecting all of the parts necessary to build the bike I rode most in my teenage years ('81 Redline Proline II). In doing so I have also collected many additional parts including a few f/f's. My 9yr old was begging for a new bike, so I thought why not build him a rider in 'Old School" style. My Build will have to wait...This is the result. Back in February when I joined, I had no idea how to go about getting started and bought this f/f and many other parts not realizing that I would actually be able to find the exact f/f & parts I needed if I would have been a bit more patient. My mistake = my son's gain! All of the parts in this build were acquired here in the Museum. He loves his new 80's ride and is riding more than ever...
