I started workin on a profile frame and fork. Ive given her a bath and a polish, I just waiting for decals. Ive been told its a shelby frame and fork.
Ive just got it sitting with a pair of suntour hubs and a headset fitted. it may just end up sitting on the shed wall

It took me about 5 years to find one. Luckily someone in the museum was kind enough to sell theirs to me.

Wouldn't the Shelby James model use 20x1 3/8 rims?

yeh man, you are right, but its not confirmed to be a shelby, it could be a mini.

To be honest, it looks too tall to be a Mini, and i believe most if not all mini Profiles used a Euro bottom bracket and that looks like an american to me. The wheels are nice btw,

Ive gotta say I really dont know, the rake on the head tube says shelby but this says mini http://bmxmuseum.com/bikes/profile/32521

It's A Shelby James expert...Magnatanium minis do not have the gusset behind the bottom bracket and have a very small bottom bracket-not an American BB. Yours is odd because it does not have the 3rd bar. Minis came w/o it but SJ's had it.

This is my mini-notice the BB and no gusset

Maybe 85ish no real way to tell as no Profiles thru 1992 had sn's.
