DY in da house

Picked this up at a swap meet yesterday...(ausjmc you legend !!!!)

I knew it was gunna be there and it sorta had my name on it (no I'm not DY.. big_smile) as I had spoken to the owner about it previously, but didn't think I would be throwing it in the back of the Jeep and coming home with it yesterday

This is the 3rd addition to a pre 86 "Signature Series" race bike collection I'm trying to put together and will sit beside Eric and Harry who are already very comfortable in my loungeroom.

Now i'm on the lookout for the big guns .... Andy and Tim, then my collection will be complete. Although I am considering if I should be also scouting for the very early and rare bikes of Stu along with Jef ?? (advice welcome)

1985 DY....

My wife just came in to me and said, “I don’t know if I am coming or going.” I said to her, “Judging by the look on your face, you’re going – ‘cos when you’re coming, you look like a franking Down Syndrome kid trying to whistle!”

Hang on... there's no joke in that statement...
FFS Daz - its not like you dont have all the freakin parts... just look on your shelves, or the stacks in your hallway or the spare bedroom rather that in the for sale section tongue

Re: DY in da house

I am fooked ya know..... lollol

I just got a PM from a guy I brought a set of wheels off back in January... He didn't send em (he found the box in the corner yesterday with my name and addy on it and thought WTF), and of course I had NFI they were even MIA, must have been another beer transaction...lol. I cant even get angry at the seller, I just thanked him for being an honest guy !!!

The funny thing is you will think that until you realize you bought them again in March, then again in June lol
(no disrespect to the seller here - joke is purely at Darren's absent minded expense)
To be fair, you were fairly heavily medicated in January wink
