With all the People showing up for Bob's Ride I figured one in Madison along the Lakefront and thru Campus would be a good time.Finishing up with a good old fashioned cookout at my place afterwards.It will have a rough schedule so anyone who wants to come late can meet us along the trail.Lots of parking and places/people to see.Planning on parking a cooler at the farthest point of the ride so we can cool off before the trip back to the start.

Who is In ?

Plan is for the 18th starting at Olin Park right of Highway 12 and the Interstate 90 94 and 39 so easy to find.Park has plenty of parking.Meet in the 9:30 to 10:00 range and start soon after.Ride along the lakefront into campus (where "Back To School" was filmed) then along the other side of the lakefront path.Plenty of places along the way to goof off and stop for any reason.Snack or lunch in the 12:00 range and return to base.For the brave Burgers and Brats at my house afterwards 4 to 5PM.Ride or not feel free to drop in at any time during or after the ride.Want to camp out Saturday eve I have a large backyard overlooking a Quarry so bring the bags and a tent.

Update ....

Part of the route is now off limts to Bikes !

Andy from Budget bike and myself are going to plot a route this weekend that will be fun and entertaining for all to ride.We are also planning a stop at Budget where there is still cool bikes on the wall to see.

We can get you some used Newspapers to Tape to your Shins,Would this work ?

Been working on organizing all my parts so I can get the fleet in order.I have spare bikes to ride if needed.

Even a Scoooter or two if you wish

You may have to fight the daughter for the Pink one !

Stocked the Garage Fridge today.Ready for all who are coming.Still need to buy Brats and Burgers but would be better with a RSVP ? I have a list already but if you are thinking of making it I would rather have to much than watch you sit hungry !

Sorry Ultrahots wish I could have joined you guys this weekend. Looks like great weather,great location to ride too. Maybe we could do a ride UW Homecoming weekend that would be pretty fun lots of good eye candy walking around.

I have to modify my response it seems that me and my Road Dog have pull together to make this happen. I'd just like to add...at the expense of not making the Oak Brook event So it look like we are heading to hang out once again with Brew cities finest(or worse)

Another GREAT time, thanks T for the hospitality, thanks Colin for showing up on the RL Platinum thanks to budget bikes for pricing the Kastan so high that I did'nt do sometging stupid! And thanks to the dude riding a Honda Rukus in nothing but a cape and bananna hammock......damndest thing I ever did see!!!!!
