I think he's taking a page from Sunday's wave tubing for his bike. If you look closer, the tube is only squared at the weld point. The seat tube rounds out and the down tube looks kind of floval in shape but there's a crease that runs down the middle. Pretty innovative so far.

Agreed this is not a race bike so the sprocket is a sign of the times.And yes the tubing design is certainly going to be stronger than a normal round design.Very happy to see the twin top tube.Looks promising so far.
