1977 Raleigh Rampar

I think this one's gonna be a fun build!

Always wanted a project that was manufactured the same year I was born.

Re: 1977 Raleigh Rampar

Will wait for that to finish. That’s a really nice frame to start with.

Re: 1977 Raleigh Rampar

This was my first "real" bmx bike - mine was a metallic copper-ish color.  I can't wait to see how yours turns out.

Cheers,
Aaron

Re: 1977 Raleigh Rampar

Thanks guys. I want to take my time on this one. Color scheme is the real thought process on this one.

So what colors ae ya going with?

I'm looking for the following frames, frame & forks or completes by BMX products:
MotoTrac (nickle or chrome), Racer-X or a Super-X (with the double gussets preferred).
Thanks wink
I'm also johnng23604 at "Retro-goose", "VintageBMX" & "RADbmx"

Re: 1977 Raleigh Rampar

I'm still not sure yet. I was thinking one color could be a metallic root beer. Since I just picked up this 80 Mongoose yesterday it may float on the back burner for a while.
