1983 Schwinn Manta Ray

1983 Manta Ray on Troxel mags

Got this lil guy as you see it.Just cleaned,greased and waxed.Being an old schwinn nut I have alot of info available and after scouring old catalogs I believe this to be a one year only bike-1983(not including the Mant Ray muscle bike).The frame and BB is super low compared to the scrambler for small riders.I think schwinn found out early this bike was just to doofy compared to typical 83 bmx offerings and dumped it for 84.
Id like to deck it out in all gold anodized bmx parts and sweet gold alloys,it'd funny as h*ll!!
