2nd Annual Long Beach CA BBQ, Swap and Ride 8/12/2012
Come and join us for our 2nd Annual Long Beach event. Like last year, bring the entire familia!!! You don't want to miss this.
- Date: Sun 8/12/2012
- Time: 11am
- Location: BIXBY PARK (Ocean Blvd and Cherry Ave. http://m.google.com/u/m/zxMrZ1
- Parking: STREET[/i]
This will be the offical thread but this IS part of the LA Beach Ride Resurrection.
This is a pot luck. I'm hoping to get a headcount by the beginning of next week.
Also, please start thinking of what you can contribute: food, drinks, plates, etc....or a donation of $5/person (I will pm you down the road). Our boy Jesse is providing a grill. The money will go towards the meat (hamburgers, hotdogs and for the vegetarians, meatless patties) as well as the propane tank.
More details to come. I just want to get this out so everyone can plan accordingly (don't forget the SD event on 8/25th)

As for the ride, if we do meet at last year's locale, can I ask that the group stay together? I know we all ride at diff. paces, but it would look dope when you got 50+ riders smashin' the boardwalk on down by the Queen Mary; I'd like to see and be part of that.
