I was just wondering how many of you are sitting on unbuilt NOS framesets. You don't need to mention what they are if you want to keep that private. I just picked up my second and wondered who else is sitting on these since only complete bikes are in the museum.

I use to have nothing but NOS framesets years and years ago. Got rid of them and quit collecting. Recently, within the last year I started hunting again. I have about a dozen NOS framesets from 1980-1984. I will never build them.

I have a few, both new school and old stuff. And as soon as I gather up enough parts I'm building them.

I have four Nos fame and fork sets with the oldest being a 1983 and the newest being a 1994

I'm the first and only owner of this '84, and she sat unbuilt until a couple of weeks ago. I almost didn't get around to bulding her, but once I made the decision, I knew I had to do it MYWAY, which is her name. Call it "thinking outside the box".

I have this little NOS gem thanks to you Mike! Once i collect all the parts, it will get built or put into a shadow box....im leaning more towards building it though.

Impossible for me to own a nos f/f I will build em up in a heart beat

Hate to see a unused frame laying there wasted. I will always doing the "BRB" Build it, ride it and break it. That what it was made for

Yah - I'm looking for an NOS 1983 GT Pro F & F. I will never build it and would be put in a shadow box... if that what a box with glass front are called.

I did have 3 till I got all the parts I wanted then built 2 of them. sold/ traded off the thired one. nothing really special. a PEREGRINE a KHE and the G H P that was still in the factory box.

I had one for a few months.

But something happened to it.

And then it changed again.

Now, old school skateboard decks, I have owned a lot of, but I am down to four that no one wants to buy.

I have an 85 Master and an 88.5 Sport, but I'm not sure if I could add the sport since i bolted tuffs to it once to see what it'd look like - i'm leaning towards not NOS anymore

I like people who refuse to build framesets up.

Nice to see these bmx treasures. Some cool framesets so far.

I have an 83 quad and an 86 ta. Unfortunately they just sit in a box where nobody can enjoy them. One day they will be on display and will stay unbuilt.

I feel you, but at the same time, can you imagine if the world came to and end and those frames never get built? Their very construction would all be for naught...I say build them so that they may exist in the fullest extent of their splendor!
