Re: 1988 Redline RL-20II
this has got to be the best birthday pressy ever. my wife with the help of a few guys like froff, knucklebanger I secured this 88 rl2011.
I tell ya my wife is the best, I couldnt have asked for more.
Im gonna build it with sealed 88 redline hubs and pere rims, I do have some 48 aeros but I think they are beyond fixing.
Ive got some freestyle forklifters for it off of harvester and im using an acs 55 stem for the moment.
Im also making a redline 44 cd aswell and will probably use mks graphites.
this will be my rider, just a few bugs to iron out but its algood

rightio, the spare wheels are built until the RLs are finished.
and the chrome decal artwork is being done. most of the parts are ready, just waiting on the powder and chroming

Whats the story with the chrome Forklifter bars?
WTB Forklifter freestyle bars, no internal rust, perfect ends.
WTB Peregrine Super Pros, not pitted.
WTB Kuwahara freestyle stem engraved.

Re: 1988 Redline RL-20II
things are really steaming along now, shes so close to being finished. Ive got to put the last decal on and booya! done.
the purple is just a standard powder purple, but it looks mad in the sunlight. the rest of the decals arrived today from the printers. Dam they are nice.
I originaly wanted to keep her OG chrome but it was to far gone and I aint got that kinda coin to have it redone.
the forks were rechromed and the bars fixed up and they are amazing! and having the slant stem on makes it feel nuts.
I know its not traditional to the Rl finish but I love it.
Huge thanks once again to my wife and kids for this bestest 40th b/day pressie and to Froff for nabbing it for me when my wife was in hospital! dude youre the best!
and also to any else who helped, thank you so much
