State Of War Victim thread..

Only post here if you have been ripped off by this member. I have been on the phone with an officer from Texas. We need to know who, and what members were ripped off. Just post on here how much you are out and how it was paid. Be ready to prove payment.

DO NOT POST UNLESS YOU GOT BURNED BY THIS GUY!!!!!!!!

There is a case going against this guy. His girlfriend is in jail on warrants. LOOKS LIKE A BIG WIN FOR THE MUSEUM AND ONE LESS POS SCAMMER!!!

big_smile

NEEDS!!!!!!!!!

Nothing right now.

Paid him 150$ for a blue JDB Hutch Deep H stem via PayPal in the 24th of June. Do you need the transaction ID? I filed a dispute about 3 hours ago.

Re: State Of War Victim thread..

Thanks for posting this Rob, and thanks Ray for showing me this post. Rob I purchased a wheel and tire set along with some pads from Evan and have still not received them. I am not real computer savy so I do not know how to put both transactions here but the wheel set is in my post from me dibbing them. Shame, I really needed that wheel set for my Sting mini. I guess I will have to contact pay pal and put a claim in also. sad

Re: State Of War Victim thread..

HOLY CRAP!!!  Me too felt victim of Evan Friciana...

I was not aware of this whole situation until last night I mentioned it to my good AMIGO Sean, AKA "Cracked another frame", that I recently made a purchase of $300 for a pair of HUTCH TiMag hubs from a guy named Evan Friciana.  I mentioned Sean that since the beginning this transaction didn't "felt" right.  To my surprise a few hours later he sent me a two PMs with the main thread and this thread.  I'm shocked as this situation felt very wrong from the beginning, however didn't want to think too much about it as all my PayPal transactions are made using my PayPal Smart Connect credit line, so that gives me "Peace of Mind".  After reading all the thread, this morning I decided to file a PayPal dispute and later call them up to corroborate on what I should expect from this transaction.  In a brief, they told me that I will get a full refund in 10 days if the hubs don't show up by then.  After all I guess Evan was trying to sell the same set of TiMag hubs to a couple BMX Museum users.

Big thanks to Sean for providing sharing with me this info.  MANY PROPS to RAD DAD!!! as he evidently know how to work these things out and for being so proactive in taking care of this incident with prompt response, and thank you Forum Admins for being very diligent and worrying about keeping our BMX community safe from these type of people, with no principles and ethics.  Your “behind the curtain† work is greatly appreciated, and encourage that this thread is kept alive as probably more people could have been scammed by Evan and are still unaware of it all!!!

In all, here are the details of the transaction:
