Long and short of it..he kept all the paperwork,filed a police report, and got the car back!! I like happy endings..
I know this isnt really bicycle related..but heh, its good news!

Effin' dealership wanted to charge him $24,000 for a car that was his to begin with. 
Who are the worse crooks? The theives or the dealership.
Wanted: NOS or Mint Phil Wood all alloy BMX hub set in black or polished.
GT Race Hubs in chrome or black.

my classic car got stolen from the storage lot we we're paying for. we called the cops and setup a sting. very lucky we ever got it back. of course it was beat up but these old cars turn into your family after awhile. great story here.
