how do i find the right fork that fits?
I have a 98 Schwinn Pro Stock 2 cruiser frame. 1 1/8 threadless headtube. i need a fork. how do i know if a fork will fit before i buy one on-line? How do i know what type of headset i need? Anyone know anything about these frames in general?
Thanks,

Just about and fork that says 1 1/8th threadless will work for you. Obviously youll need 24" too. make sure it takes 3/8s axles also. As for your headset any standard 1 1/8th threadless will work too. this would work for you just fine. http://www.danscomp.com/products/301022 … adset.html
As for the frames my buddy had one and he felt it was heavy. My 20 felt pretty light to me. I wish I had kept it. there pretty good bikes if you ask me.
I pick up what you throw out Lookin for uncut blast bars!!!!!!!!!!!

yip, you want a non-integrated headset. any uncut fork should be okay.

it would if it's for a frame with press-in bearing cups.

i'd say that your frame takes a standard headset. (to the far right). you want a fork to fit that. some of the se forks fit standard, some of the newer ones fit integrated. the seller of the fork should be able to tell you. and internal is just another type of standard headset.![]()
