1993 S&M DIRTBIKE
1993 S&M DIRTBIKE
After getting back into BMX last year (late summer 2007), I was feeling inspired to search for a chrome 1" headtube S&M Dirtbike. It's now February 2008 and I just finished her. Thanks BMX MUSEUM!!
FRAME: 1993 S&M Dirtbike. 1" headtube, with 990 mounts. Only has one downtube sticker on it...and I believe that sticker is actually for the 95-96 models, not positive on that.
FORK: S&M Stupidfork Combo. 1" steertube that comes with a 1" clamp on S&M Redneck. Pretty rare from what I gather. This is the ditchfork style, with peg bosses. Fork is threaded.
STEM: S&M Redneck 1" Clamp On
HEADSET: GT Epoch, red annodized.
BARS: Ape Hangers. Chrome, 1.5" trimmed on each side.
GRIPS: Big Cheese. Red with White stars.
LEVER: Primo J Lever. All black.
CABLE: Cheap Black straight cable. Red annodized brake bridge.
BRAKES: Revenge. Green annodized.
SEAT: S&M Full shield logo saddle.
POST: Odyssey straight
CLAMP: TNT. 2pc split design. Gold annodized.
CRANKS: GT stamped Profiles. 180mm Chrome
BOTTOM BRACKET: Redline sealed
CHAINWEEL: GT Overdive. 42t Red annodized.
PEDALS: Eastern platforms. Knurled with replaceable pins.
CHAIN: KMC 1/8" Red
RIMS: Araya Super 7x NIPPLES: Alloy Red annodized. Unsure of spokes.
HUBS: Crupi High Flange sealed bearing. Red annodized.
TIRES: Kenda Kontact. Black with Red walls.
OTHER: Red annodized Tower valve caps (courtesy of the Museum store)

Great bike. Just like the one I rode when I was a kid.
