My nephew turned 2 today!! Check out his new wheels!!!!
Back in February I purchased a pit bike from a member on here so I could build it for my nephews birthday in July. Fast forward a few months and today was the day I could finally give it to him.
Started out with frame,fork and bars. Purchased Grips from porckhop bmx and then got the sweet yellow rims from a john deere bike i scored of craigslist $5.
Pretty Rad for a 2 year old!!

if you want him to get into racing, for 2 year olds, they can ride on striders (no cranks and pedal by your feet) They dont go a full track, maybe one turn thats it.

Thanks for the comments!! I can't even explain how stoked he is!! For a 2 year old i thinks he likes bikes just as much as i do! My brother-in-law told me that they had to put it in the garage last night because he was riding it in the living room and wouldnt get off if it lol. Although his dad is a huuuge redline fan and still has his 87 rl20 he was pumped about the bike too!!
JAMMJ thats awesome they have races! I need to find out if the track in Austin hold them for 2 year olds because i know he would love it!!

a lot of kids learned to ride this way..my son did and my nephews. I think its an old trick on teaching a kid how to ride. I was told that by an old lady that lives across from us and she said her husband taught all their kids to ride this way....well of course after a few weeks the cranks and pedals goes back on
