1980 Blazer

I received this frame from Blazer BMX Racing owner Mike Maberry.  The bike was professionally restored by Chris Mallett and Red-D Bikes from San Antonio, TX.

I raced for Factory Blazer BMX Racing in the early 1980's.  I contacted Mike Maberry in early 2012 looking for a 20" Blazer.  Mike stated that he had a frame that needed some work - the top tube was snapped and was returned under warranty to Mike.  Mike has had the frame ever since then.  He gave me the frame and I sent it to Chris Mallett and Red-D Bikes (www.red-dbikes.com) for the restoration.  As no surviving original decals are available, Mike gave Chris and I authority to reproduce all decals.  Chris can get you decals if you need them at the webiste listed.  The build was approved by Mike personally.  This is an original BMX survivor brought back from the dead.  Long live Capital City BMX in Austin, TX and Blazer BMX Racing.

Re: 1980 Blazer

Wow very sweet bike ya got there.  That broke black one I were held almost two years ago with blue one (seat post tube broke off) when I meet mike.  Suprised that mike let this go, last time he told me this was all he have left and will never let it go.

Build it, Ride it and Break it. That what it was made for.
