celebrate a BMX Independence Day ...Philly ride 7/4/11
Ok, so here's the deal for the 4th....
Where; Swan Memorial Fountain at
Ben Franklin Parkway between 18th and 20th Streets
(Its the big fountain that the road circles around)
When: 2pm meet. 2:30 ride
There will be the party on the Parkway going on with food vendors etc until 7pm
The concert @ the Art Museum starts @ 7pm
Figure we'll make our way through the festivities @ 2:30 and ride up Kelly Drive, cross the Falls Bridge, and come back down??

What are you guys thinking as far as time? Do you want to ride early, or ride later and check out the Concert & Fireworks on the Parkway?

I would like to check out all the festivities. I was gonna show up to 23rd and Arch (Free Parking for me ) at like 1. My schedule is clear for the whole day and night if that's what's up so any time is good for me.

I was going to try to make it, but I snapped my chain and ate pavement hard today. I've now got no bikes in riding condition. Well, except the Pro Thunder I had at the BBQ. Hmm......
