Re: what kind of bars are these
Don't you think they would not have knurling if they were 80s type bars???

Low end?
Like I already said they look very REVCORE inspired. Probably late 80's early 90's high end.
See and similarity to this item?

Thanks , its my rider..... Hutchheaven i see your point and agree that they could be revcore.... I still think they could be skyway race bars with welded on gussets as a prototype for the streetbeat witch might explain the knurling... and would have been around 1985... i will figure it out one way or the other i hope!

BTw, that's a 300 TA. Late 80's Skyway product. They had a test writeup here. http://oldschoolmags.com/tests/Skyway_3 … XA8804.pdf
I'm sorry I offended you by calling you stupid, but I thought you already knew.

I find it interesting that they were made in Ludington, right here in Michigan. Man! Wish you could still ship bars for $2.50!!!

Re: what kind of bars are these
Super cool to see my bars after all these years! Yes, made by Revcore and also "yes" the Revcore posts gussets were used on the bars. I was working at BMX Plus! when I had Mike Miranda (he was working for CW/Revcore) have the welders do up a pair for me (I was running their bars anyways). Dumb thing was, they welded the gussets on wrong so that they poked out on the outside and didn't fit the contour of the bar. Shredded the thigh area on my pants the first gate start I did! They figured it out (obviously) and made about 2 dozen or so for me. I moved back to Michigan and was then told they couldn't make them in such low #'s and I didn't have the $ to order a ton of them, so that ended it. I've prototyped or made very small production runs of things since. Here's my 1 of 1 updated Secret Cycles bar from around 1997.
If it's got two wheels, jump it.
