1984 Visage Freestyler

"Looked everywhere online-- oldest one out there!"

This bike looks like a torker on steroids!! 6 miles of tubing, (Lol) all original parts.
Was sitting in a basement for years. I pumped up the tires & took it for a ride, the chain broke as it was seriously rusted. Missing the rear cable also, although the rest is intact.

I'm pretty sure they were not out in 84. Nice bike regardless.

I didn't think so either!! I tried to post her awhile ago, & listed the serial. Gary didn't aprove it because the pics were washed-out. He commented on this, & told me she was a 84'.

Re: 1984 Visage Freestyler

Go up on the left to bikes, & look up Visage.
On the page, it says that they made bikes from 1980 to 2010.
(I thought it was an '87, but Gary came back & told me it was an '84)

I also want to find that model!! Nice looking lines!! I like how they attached the steering tube!!
I'm not sure what that model is called, but the one I have says "PRO" on the side of the toptube.

Re: 1984 Visage Freestyler

You mean the head tube, the steer tube is on the fork. Visage copied Redline's RL20II for that.

whats funny is that other model seems to look pretty much like another bike called a  Hanter attack

Re: 1984 Visage Freestyler

Yeah, your right! The attack has a cool frameset, notice the looptail? I can't see in the Visage ad if that one has looped stays. Cool looking front-end though!

yep very cool looking front, and as you said the back of the visage isnt that visable in the add, if its looped its almost exactly like the Hanter Attack.  Im going to be on the lookout for a Visage or a Hanter Attack.

Re: 1984 Visage Freestyler

There's a reason why it looks like a Hanter. Hanter changed it's name to Visage in 86 or 87 due to copyright infringement claim or something along those lines.

No offense but I suck at negotiating, so rule of thumb: When dealing with me just assume the price is firm unless I say "OBO".
