Halo Clickster freewheel - good? bad?

Anyone have any experience with these?  Looking for some opinions from people who have ridden one.  A White Industries is only $20 more so I'm not sure it's worth it to get the Halo.

Thanks cool

Re: Halo Clickster freewheel - good? bad?

I saw those on Amazon for $50, looks pretty interesting.  I haven't found any reviews in my search.

I did find this Echo freewheel (108 points of engagement) for $60 on ebay -- http://tinyurl.com/6nmnw6u

The Echo brand seems popular with trials riders, but I have no first-hand experience with either.  The GT Ratchet freewheel also comes up as a good one with 120 points of engagement, but I can't find one in 18t.

Re: Halo Clickster freewheel - good? bad?

FWIW, I just got the Echo freewheel in the mail today.  The 108 points is cool but I was surprised at the amount of side-to-side play/wobble in the freewheel.  Tolerances didn't seem to be as good as my cheap ACS Crossfire.

I'm sure it will hold up fine for the type of riding I do -- just surprised at the wobble for a trials fw.

Re: Halo Clickster freewheel - good? bad?

Thanks everybody smile  I haven't picked one up yet but I'm leaning towards the GT or a White Ind.  The talk about the play in the Echo worries me a little.  I have a nice Shimano on there now but there aren't enough engagement points for me.  I'll give a little review of the GT if I get one wink
