2012 Volume Sledgehammer - just another cruiser or the real deal?
I'm surprised there's virtually no feedback on this bike...
I've got an OM Flyer that's been a lot of fun, but am wondering if the Sledgehammer's new school geometry would make it noticeably easier to bunnyhop, manual, etc.
I like the idea of an aggressive geometry 26" cruiser and am curious if this bike will deliver. Can't rest ride one first, unfortunately...

ive wondered the same. There offices are just about a mile from where I work, I don't know if they would let me ride one or not.

If you do more than just cruising, a 26" Dirt jumper mtb would be a better idea.
Looking for a 24" or 26" DJ MTB

I love DJ MTB's (like my Blackmarket), but the 2012 Sledgehammer is a legit bike too.
You can def do more than just cruising.

I think they had/have a model called the Z06 that was pimped out with some pretty cool stuff. I looked at them a couple of years ago at the Fullerton (CA) Bike shop and liked them a lot.
Wanted- White Industries Freewhee 19T and 20T, Mongoose Stainless Steel bars for a Moosegoose, and Big Gulp bars- because I think they look goofy enough to cruise with!

If you're lookin for a 26" bmx bike for cruisin and the occasional bunnyhop/manual, the new sledgehammer is the way to go.I have the '09 one and love it but it does have the traditional geo.DJ mtb are better for tricks and stuff but not for just cruisin
