1986 CW Pit Racer Freestyler 16
1986 CW Pit Racer Freestyler 16
One of the last CW freestylers I need.
Finally got a little pit bike freestyler! I've been wanting one of these for a while and finally got myself one! the brakes on this thing were pretty darn tricky. With the frame being so small and tight back there I had to try 3 different brakes to finally get one that fit. I first had that 901 back there which looked awesome. It couldn't fit on the top side because of the platform up there so I mounted it underneath, saving the 880 for the front. Turns out the chain hit it when I put the chain on, so it had to go. I have a real nice red anno DC 890 that I tried, which fit, but the arms weren't long enough to let the pads hit the wheel. Grrr. I finally had to take my 880 that I had waiting for the front and use it in the back. It fits in there perfect and works great. That left me needing to use that 901 for the front though. I'm still happy with it, but will eventually get another 880 in anno red for it when I can find one. When I do it will most likely get a potts mod bolt and a rotor, since it is a later 80's freestyler, I think it needs them. No point in it yet though because that 901 on the front isn't spinning anywhere. For now though, totally happy with my little guy.
The grips and pedals are pretty well used and the seat post was re-chromed before I got it. Everything else though is in very nice shape, and original finish. New tires and I added the little Dizz Hicks sticker to the back.

Don, this is BADASS! I'm glad you got it, I had been considering that thing for a while but I could have never done what you did with it. Nice job bud, ![]()
