2001 Dyno NFX

Possible Future Mid School/ Old School Build

Got this bike through a trade with a friend. I saved the original parts that were still good and can be restored, everything else has been trashed. I want to make this a mid school bike with an old school touch to it, including some lime green Skyway mags!

the frame is made of steel, and it should say that on the sticker that's on the seat tube

Oh thanks, lol I should have paid more attention. I knew it wasn't aluminum because it is too heavy but I didn't know much more than that.

Yours is really cool, I have never seen a chrome one before. My friend just gave me the bars, stem, and top cap to this thing. The stem is crazy cool, it is the GT Piston stem. I am glad I got it because they aren't cheap to buy NOS ones.

Lol, I was wondering what you were talking about. I really like the aftermarket parts on your bike, that sprocket is way cool.

Re: 2001 Dyno NFX

I put a 50/16 on my hyper, and the gearing felt like the 25/9 on my haro. It all depends but I think a 46 would be perfect for a race bike but people have different preferences so maybe you like lower gearing better. But your dyno is definitely one of the best I have seen, do you race it or is it just a daily rider?
