1998 GT Performer
1998 GT Performer
MY FIRST RESTORING PROJECT RETRO LOOK
too heavy but rides good fsr. Original in chrome, i have it since '99 this bike was my dairy ride for years in the time when the local scene has no more bmx'ers around,
some gays married, others in work, moving to other states or places, the scene die so,i ride alone for some time but , never stop ridebmx bikes since 1986 to now. in 2007 the bike shows the pass of the years and i thought : it's the time to restore! she deserve it, so i dissasembled full bike cleaning some rust parts etc and now it's time for the color, what i do? i always want DAY-GLO PINK yes! but, that means WHITE PIECES! to, damn , all parts are in black. so much work to do and time and parts required. so i think, come on just dooo it! what ever it takes. a tribute of a '88 PFT GOING ON i painted pink parts but the frame it was painted 3 TIMES! paint NEON COLORS is so hard but at least it worth. i was looking for 88 stickers but no luck, only 89 ones and the finish is this. i hope to enjoy like i do.

Cool color and I like the retro look. Nice job!
You didn't stop riding your bike because you got old. You got old because you stopped riding your bike...
